STOP THE RENT HIKES

SDCC is planning to push through a rent hike from July that would hit thousands of families across South Dublin. They are proposing a 25% increase in the core rent rate. For low-paid workers receiving Working Family Payment, the hike could reach 53%.

This does not just affect council tenants. If you receive HAP, Homeless HAP, or live in an Approved Housing Body home, you will be affected too.

We need to fight back now. A similar rent hike in DCC was passed by just one vote. If we organise now, we can stop this.
